SURVEI PRAKTEK SANITASI DAN HIGIENE PELAJAR SD TERHADAP PANGAN JAJANAN SEKOLAH DI KOTA SAMARINDA
Abstract
Elementary school students are a group of children between 7 – 12 years old that still in the period of growth and also physically and phsycologically vulnerable. There are factors that affect them, which are sanitation and safety food.
This research is held to know the perception of students about sanitation and hygiene about street food, where the perception is affected by segregation of age, segregation of sex and dissemination of sanitation knowledge to students from parents and teachers.
This research is using stratified purposive proportional sampling technic to determine the number of samples that taken from 4 districts. Then, the schools as the area of data gaining were chosen based on proportion of the students population in each district. The data samples were taken from 280 students using quesioner that containing questions about sanitation and hygiene, street food, sanitation knowledge dissemination from parents and teachers. The data are analyzed with cross tabulation method using SPSS software with the results are Chi-Square value in α 5% two-sided and correlation test in α 5%.
The results showed that there are 52 students (18,57%) have sanitation perception categorized as less, 96 students (34,29%) have sanitation perception categorized as enough and 132 students (47,14%) have sanitation perception categorized as good. Segregation of sexes, parents’ background education and dissemination of teachers’ sanitation knowledge have no relation to the perception of students about sanitation and hygiene. But, there is relation between segregation of age and sanitation perception which students in the group of 7 – 9 years old are better than students in 10 – 12 years old with chi-square value 22,630 significancy 0,000 and correlating -0,273. There is also a relation between snacking habit and segregation of age where the group of 10 -12 years old are more like snacking than the group of 7 – 9 years old with chi-square value 36,903 significancy 0,000 and correlating -0,318.

Pelajar Sekolah Dasar (SD) merupakan sekelompok individu berumur antara 7-12 tahun yang masih dalam masa pertumbuhan dan rentan secara fisik dan psikologis. Beberapa factor yang mempengaruhi mereka adalaha perilaku sanitasi dan keamanan pangan jajanan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui praktik sanitasi dan hygiene pelajar sd di samarinda terhadap pangan jajanan sekolah dimana praktik tersebut dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan usia (kelompok umur), segregasi jenis kelamin dan diseminasi pengetahuan kepada siswa sd oleh orang tua dan guru.
Pengetahuan ini menggunakan teknik stratified purposive proportional sampling dalam mennetukan sampel yang diambil dari 4 kecamtan. Kemudian diambil sekolah-sekolah sebagai areal pengambilan data berdasarkan proporsi polusai siswa tiap kecamatan. Pengambilan data dari 280 siswa dilakukan melalui kusioner yang berisi 20 pertanyaan seputar sanitasi dan jajanan. Data dianalisa menggunakan metode tabulasi silang melalui program SPSS dan hasilnya nilai chi-square pada taraf a 5% dua sis dan uji koreksi pada taraf a 5%.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 52 orang siswa (18,57%) memiliki praktik sanitasi kategori kurang, dan 96 orang (34,29%0 praktik sanitasi kategori cukup serta 132 orang (47,14%) praktik sanitasi kategori baik. Jenis kelamin siswa, tingkat pendidikan orang tua dan pengetahuan sanitasi guru tidak memiliki hubungan terhadap praktik sanitasi dan hygiene pelajar. Namun, terdapat hubungan kelompok umur terhadap praktik sanitasi dimana praktik sanitasi pelajar umur 7-9 tahun lebih baik disbanding pelajar umur 10-12 tahun dengan nilai chi-square 22,630 dengan signifikan 0,000 dan berkolerasi -0,273. Diketahui pula terdapat hubungan antar kesukaan jajjan dan perbedaankelompok umur pelaajar dengan nilai chi-square 36,903 signifikan 0,000 dan berkolerasi -0,318.
